VIGNYAN IMPORTS AND EXPORTS is committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our premium incense and handcraft products. Due to the nature of our products (consumable and fragrant items), we have specific guidelines for returns and refunds.

1. General Return Eligibility (Defective or Damaged Goods Only)

We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or subjective fragrance preference due to the hygienic and consumable nature of our products.

We only accept returns and offer refunds/replacements for items that are:

  1. Damaged in Transit: The item arrived broken or leaking.

  2. Defective: The product (e.g., incense holder) is structurally flawed or non-functional.

  3. Incorrect Item: You received a product or scent different from what you ordered.

Key Conditions:

  • Notification Period: You must notify us of the issue within seven (7) calendar days of receiving your order.

  • Proof Required: You must provide clear photographic evidence of the damage, defect, or incorrect item.

2. Product Specific Return Requirements

A. Incense Sticks, Dhoop, and Consumables

  • Eligibility: Only eligible if the external packaging is severely damaged upon arrival, rendering the product unusable.

  • Ineligibility: We cannot accept returns if the seal is broken, the product has been used, or if the complaint is based purely on disliking the fragrance.

B. Incense Holders (Wooden and Steel)

  • Eligibility: Eligible for return or exchange if the holder is defective or damaged (e.g., broken wood, structural weld failure).

  • Condition: The holder must be returned unused, unburned, and in its original condition and packaging. If the item has been used (shows signs of ash or burn marks), the return request will be denied.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email us at contact@vignyanexports.com within seven days of delivery.

  2. Provide Details: Include your Order Number (V-XXXX), a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the damage or defect.

  3. Assessment: We will review your request and, if approved, send you instructions and a return shipping label.

Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. Refunds and Replacements

A. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within ten (10) business days.

B. Replacements

  • If your product is damaged or defective, we prioritize sending a replacement of the exact same item, subject to stock availability, at no extra shipping cost to you.
